What web development softwares do you use? Why?

Depends on the are of "Web Development". If you use it to make XHMTML/CSS2/XML/XSLT/PHP i strongly recommend Macromedia Dreamweaver 8.





If you make Java code, Eclipse. As for the MS (.NET, ASP) use a tool released by them...

1. in static web pages..- the notepad is required for making the HTML, XHTML, ASP codings..

Reply:I use visual studio 6, I can also code HTML and XHTML into notepad and I can edit most webpages built upon that small amount of knowledge. Flash fireworks and dream-weaver are good programs as well I hear.
