I'm a ColdFusion developer and I'm interested in learning how to create applications flip.com's flipbook, cyworld.com's minime %26amp; miniroom and npool.de's miniroom. I've been looking into Flash, Flex, and Openlaszlo as the basic frameworks...but I'm not entirely sure where to start. Feedback from other web developers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You should also check out Adobe's AIR platform if you have any interest in deploying to the desktop. It runs on top of AJAX, Flash, or Flex.
