Knowing how to make websites and how to make them properly. Trouble is that not many school are teaching it the right way. You'd be better off reading books from New Riders and Apress/Friends of Ed than going to school.
What do you think would be the benefits of learning web development right at this moment as a student?
That would depend on what your career goals are.
